About
Kit's first day on the pirate ship Salty Biscuit goes sideways when a wave smudges the treasure map and two crewmates argue about which way to sail. Students read the story in short parts with a read-aloud button on every passage and answer, then answer what, how and why questions, use a context clue to work out a word, pick the word that describes Kit, retell the voyage in order, match ship words, choose fair solutions to crew problems, and spin the captain's wheel for a final question. Built for speech-language and reading practice in grades 3 to 5.
