For marketplace publishers

Keep what you earn. 100%. Forever.

Founding creators — the first 100 — keep 100% of every sale, forever. After that, a flat 85% of every sale on Studio Pro, that never shrinks as you grow. No extra fees to get your lessons seen. Paid monthly through Stripe. We host your storefront and help teachers find it. You pick the price point. Selling is part of the Studio Pro plan.

The math

What you keep, against what they keep.

Other marketplaces take a cut that grows as you do. Founding creators keep 100% forever; everyone else keeps a flat 85% of every sale while on Studio Pro, from sale #1 to sale #10,000 — it never shrinks as you sell more.

TPT
~55–80%

Depends on seller tier, year, and discoverability surcharges. You also fight the platform's promotion rules.

Boom Cards
varies

Revenue share varies by deck and subscription model. Less transparent than a flat number.

Berdee
100%

Founding creators (first 100) keep everything, forever. 85% flat standard after, on Studio Pro — every sale, never shrinks as you sell more.

Comparison numbers are illustrative — actual cuts vary by tier, year, and discoverability fees. The Berdee number — 100% founding, 85% standard on Studio Pro — doesn't. It’s a share of what the buyer actually paid: when they spend bonus credits from a bundle or free promotional credits, a sale brings in less than its list price. If a standard publisher leaves Studio Pro, their lessons stay for sale and they keep 50% of new sales until they subscribe again.

The storefront

Your own storefront, easy to find and easy to share.

One page with all your lessons. Teachers can find it on Google, and when you share the link on Pinterest or in a Facebook group, it shows up as a proper preview with your title and picture.

Looks right wherever you share it.

Search results, Pinterest pins, Facebook posts: your storefront and every lesson show a clean preview with the title and picture, with nothing for you to set up.

Your bio, your link, your catalog.

Photo, bio, optional website link, and every lesson you've published, newest first. One link in your TPT bio or SLP Facebook group sends every follower to a real storefront.

The payouts

Paid monthly. No surprises.

Payouts go out on the 5th of every month once you've earned $50, and Stripe deposits them to your bank on its usual schedule. Stripe, our payment partner, holds your bank details, so we never see them, and Berdee issues your 1099 through Stripe.

Cadence
Monthly

Your balance is paid on the 5th. A sale is ready to pay out 30 days after purchase.

What sells

The lesson shapes that move on the marketplace.

An honest list, not a wish list. These are the lesson formats we expect to sell best.

Multi-scene units.

A full 6-8 scene unit on a single topic, with hints, retries, and a celebration scene. Higher price point because it replaces hours of teacher prep.

IEP-aligned lessons.

Lessons built around a specific goal — articulation /sh/, inferencing for 4th-6th, vocabulary depth for middle school. SLPs look for these because they're ready to use in a session.

Themed sets.

Seasonal practice (Halloween short vowels, holiday math) or a run of lessons on one topic (water cycle, Civil War). Group them into a unit, concept, topic or series so buyers browse them in order and get the free ones in one click; each lesson keeps its own price. Repeat purchases every year.

Review games.

End-of-unit games — spin wheel, conveyor belt, jeopardy-style. Teachers buy these for the day before a quiz.

The rules

Listing lifecycle, in plain language.

No legalese. These are the three rules of publishing on Berdee — written so you don't get surprised six months in.

Unpublish before first sale.

Made a mistake? Pull the listing as long as nobody's bought it yet. After a sale, the listing is locked in but you can keep editing it forever — buyers automatically receive updates.

Buyers get updates.

When you improve a lesson, every past buyer's copy updates too. So it's fine to publish now and keep improving.

Moderation you can see.

Any signed-in educator can report a listing. We moderate openly. If a listing gets taken down, you get a notice with the reason and we'll work with you to fix it.
