About

A middle-school speech and language lesson set at a library game club. Quinn nervously joins a round of Storm Towers, an invented board game. Students infer how characters feel and highlight the text evidence, read a set of game rules, track how a losing player responds and changes, choose the most gracious thing to say after a win, predict and summarize, use an antonym clue, sort short texts by author's purpose and words by part of speech, and finish with a word search. Every passage and question has a read-aloud button.
