About
A spooky-but-silly four-panel comic for grades 3-5 speech and language. Nora hears a creak, a drip and a loud THUMP at midnight. Students learn comic words (panel, caption, speech and thought bubbles, sound effects), use picture clues to infer what is thumping and how Nora feels, find and use sound words, retell the story in order, name the main idea, match multiple-meaning words and keep a conversation going. Every question, panel and choice can be read aloud.

- 15 scenes: matching, picture-clue questions, highlighting, ordering, drag-in sound words and a sound-word catch game
