About
Rafi the bear cub has a Hanukkah mystery picture hidden under nine tiles. Each right answer lifts one tile. Students read base-ten blocks (tens rods and ones cubes), turn "4 tens and 9 ones" into 49, name the tens and ones digits of a two-digit number, and finish with a tricky "8 ones and 2 tens". Every direction is read aloud, and each wrong answer gets a short spoken hint that teaches the place-value idea. Built for first grade; works for K–2.
