Play two adding games with Remy the robin. In How Close?, students pick 3 of 5 number cards whose sum is as close to 20 as they can get, then write the equation. In Five in a Row, they add 7, 8 or 9 to a card, find the sum on a game board, and work out which number to add when some sums are already covered. Every direction is narrated, and every wrong answer gets a spoken hint and another try.
