About
An original speech and language story lesson for grades 3 to 5. Ari and her cousin Jun build a cardboard puppet theater for the library craft fair, and the night before, Jun's curious cat crashes right through the roof. Students learn the four parts of a story map, answer where, what and how questions about each part of the story, find the words that show how Jun feels, choose kind words to comfort a friend, match each story-map part to the story, retell it in order, and name its lesson. Then they join ideas with but, so and or, work out words with the suffixes -ful, -less, -er and -able, and finish with a craft-supplies word search. Every passage, question and answer has a read-aloud button.
