About
It's Hanukkah, and Lev the lion cub is adding with ten frames. Students count the red counters, then count on the yellow ones, first in one ten frame and then in two, for sums up to 20. In two scenes they fill the frame themselves, adding counters from the tray until it shows the total. Making ten comes up again and again: fill the first ten frame, then count on. Every direction is read aloud, and a wrong answer gets a spoken hint. Self-checking, about 10 minutes, for kindergarten through second grade.
