About
Tilly the polar bear has a mystery picture for New Year's, hidden under nine tiles. Each time students add three numbers correctly, one tile lifts. They start by counting three groups of balloons, party hats and cupcakes, then add three numbers with sums up to 20 using make-ten pairs, doubles and adding zero. Every direction is read aloud, and a wrong answer gets a spoken hint. Self-checking, about 10 minutes, for kindergarten through second grade.
