About
Nomi the hedgehog is on a Hanukkah word hunt, and first graders help her by finishing words with vowel teams (coat, treat), a blend (spin) and a digraph (chocolate), reading words to match pictures, clapping syllables in candle and Hanukkah, and choosing the sentence that starts with a capital letter and ends with a period. Every direction is narrated, wrong answers get a spoken hint, and the reading checks never read the answers aloud.
