About
At Science Club, Dr. Ruiz shows Junie and Marcus how to blow up a balloon without using their breath. Students learn five lab words, read the experiment's directions and put the steps in order, predict what will happen, explain the cause and effect, tap the words that name the gas, read how Junie feels when her balloon stays flat and pick a kind reply, fix the mistake by rereading a step, sort nouns, verbs and describing words, and finish with a lab word search. Every passage, step and answer has a read-aloud button. Built for speech-language goals in grades 3 to 5: following directions, sequencing, cause and effect, perspective taking and parts of speech.
