About
Bruno the bear builder helps first graders find out what makes a shape a triangle. Students compare triangles of every shape and turn with near-misses (an opening, a curved side, a cut-off corner), sort shape cards into triangles and not triangles, then draw triangles and a 4-sided shape on dot paper. Every direction is read aloud, and every wrong answer gets a spoken hint.
