About
Bruno the builder bear checks every corner. Students add 10 and 11 to a two-digit number by thinking in tens and ones, then learn what makes a shape a rectangle: 4 straight sides and 4 square corners. They spot rectangles and squares however they are turned, hear why other shapes don't count, and draw rectangles, squares and shapes that aren't rectangles on dot paper. Every direction is read aloud, and each wrong answer gets a spoken hint. Grade 1 geometry, about 15 minutes.
