About

A gentle yes-or-no game about staying safe on Halloween night, for PreK to grade 2. Children walk through a trick-or-treat evening with Pip, a friendly jack-o'-lantern, and decide whether each of eight choices is safe: walking with a grown-up, waiting for treats to be checked, wearing a costume they can see and walk in, staying outside a stranger's house, crossing the street carefully, carrying a flashlight, visiting only houses with the porch light on, and skipping open treats. Every question and both answer choices are read aloud, and every scene uses the same calm layout, which suits pre-readers and students who benefit from predictable routines, including special education and autism support.
