About
Kindergartners count Owl's collections, then the objects hide and they answer "How many were there?" with the last number they said. Eight short, fully narrated activities: count friends, see one drawing for each friend, count then hide, judge whether Owl's total is right, put hazelnuts in an egg carton one number at a time, and get exactly 7 connecting cubes from a card. Every wrong answer gets a spoken hint and another try.
What's included
- 8 narrated activities with spoken hints, about 8 minutes
- 3 count-then-hide collections that check the last number
- Egg carton counting and a get-the-cubes card
Learning objectives
- Count a collection of up to 10 and tell how many with the last number counted, without counting again.
- Spot a count that ends with the wrong total.
- Put each object in its own cup of an egg carton, saying one number for each.
- Get the number of cubes a card shows, and stop there.
