About

Toby the Toolbox builds a sailboat, a car and a tower out of pattern blocks, and kindergarten students ask and answer math questions about them. They pick the question that counting can answer, count the blue and green blocks, and tell which color there is more of or fewer of. Then they solve Toby's put-together and take-away stories, choose the equation 4 + 2 = 6 for his car, count out 12 blocks and build with them, and check Toby's count of his robot. Every direction is read aloud, and a wrong answer gets a spoken hint and another try.
