About

Help Bea the bumblebee set her picnic! Kindergartners decide whether there are enough stools, straws and milk cartons for everyone, then say which group has more and which has fewer, first with the pictures lined up and then with rows that don't line up, so the longer row isn't always the bigger group. They drag one apple onto each plate to match one to one, and count butterflies and strawberries in a picnic picture. Every direction is read aloud, and every wrong answer gets a spoken hint.

What's included

  • 14 activity scenes, about 8 minutes
  • Every direction and hint read aloud
  • A drag-to-match scene and a picnic counting story

Learning objectives

  • Tell whether there are enough of one thing for each of another.
  • Say which of two groups of pictures has more, and which has fewer, when the pictures line up and when they don't.
  • Match pictures one to one to compare two groups.
  • Count up to 10 pictures in a scene to answer how many.
