Editing Several Widgets at Once
Select multiple widgets and change the properties they share, without opening each one in turn.
Select more than one widget and the properties panel switches to multi-select. It shows the properties every selected widget has in common, so you can restyle a whole row of buttons or a set of image cards in one pass.
Select widgets by holding Shift and clicking each one, by dragging a marquee across empty canvas, or by pressing ⌘ A (Ctrl A) to take everything on the scene at once. Esc lets the selection go again. Full list: Keyboard Shortcuts.
What you can change
The panel offers the intersection of the selection: a property appears only if every selected widget has it. Select three buttons and you get the font controls; add an image to the selection and the font controls drop out, because an image has no text to style. Select only images and you get Fit (Cover, Contain or Stretch) for all of them at once.
The panel is laid out exactly like the single-widget panel, in one Style & Layout section, with Cursor and the size fields behind Show more options. Nothing moves to a different place just because you selected a second widget.
Reading "Mixed"
When the selected widgets disagree on a value, the field says Mixed instead of inventing a number. A Mixed slider parks its handle at the left, and a Mixed text field shows "Mixed" as a placeholder rather than a value.
Mixed is a display state, not a value. Nothing is written until you actually set something:
- Sliders (font size, border radius, rotation, opacity) apply when you release the handle. Press and release without moving to set the value the handle is resting on, which is how you set a mixed selection to the lowest value the slider allows: zero for border radius, rotation, and opacity, and 8 px for font size.
- Number fields (width, height, z-index) apply when you click away or press Enter. Press Escape to abandon what you typed. Clearing a field and leaving it does nothing, so you can retype without a half-finished number reaching your widgets. One exception: a bulk height change skips text widgets — their height always fits their text automatically.
- Colors apply when you pick one.
Just focusing a field and moving on never changes anything.
One edit, one undo
A multi-select edit counts as a single change, however many widgets it touched. One Undo puts all of them back.
What stays per widget
Some things are deliberately not offered in multi-select because they are specific to one widget: its name, its content (the label on a button, the picture in an image widget), its scoring setup, and conditional visibility. The panel says so where it applies. Select a single widget to edit those — content and scoring live in that widget's ⚙ Configure dialog, which always applies to exactly one widget (an image's picture is set with its Choose image button or its Image Source section).
Position (X and Y) is also absent on purpose. Move widgets on the canvas, where you can see what you are doing, or use the alignment tools.
